PADI Certification
5 Scuba Diving Courses
You can visit Lahaina to obtain your PADI scuba certification and choose from five diving adventures guided by an expert instructor! Options include PADI certifications such as Scuba Diver and Open Water Diver. If you have minimal experience in the ocean, don’t worry—your instructor is well-equipped to teach divers of all skill levels and comfort zones.
Scuba Diver Course
The beginner PADI Scuba Diver course is a single-day certification with two scuba dives. The cost covers all of your rental gear and PADI certification fees. So, if you don’t have time to commit to a multi-day course, this could fit your Maui vacation perfectly! We advise that you consider booking this course early to ensure availability on your preferred diving date.
Please consider that this course requires good physical health. You must be comfortable swimming in the ocean and answer No to every question on the medical statement.
Open Water Referral
Sign up for the popular PADI Open Water Referral course to complete four dives in two days. You must provide referral documentation from your previous instructor before arriving in Maui. We also offer private certification courses.
Open Water Diver
Getting your PADI certification in Maui gets you four scuba dives in the warm Pacific Ocean. When you feel ready to get certified, let us set up your 2-day course. The unique Lahaina and Kaanapali coastline allows for easy entry into the ocean and a very accessible coral reef ecosystem.
The PADI Open Water Diver course has three main parts: dive theory, skills practice, and training dives. You take quizzes for chapters one to four and then a final exam for dive theory. Skills practice includes your confined water skills on the surface and underwater and your four open water dives. Remember, PADI Certifications remain valid for life, so a professional conducts your training thoroughly.
Advanced Open Water Diver
Do you want to scuba dive to 100 feet in Kaanapali? After earning your PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification, you can go for it! You get to experience five Advanced dives during your course, including, but not limited to, Deep, Photography, Navigation, Wreck, and Peak Performance Buoyancy.
Depending on your Maui vacation plans, you get five dives over two to three days. Contact us for more information about the Advanced course and how to apply completed dives as credit towards your PADI certification.
Rescue Diver
Divers over 12 can sign up for the PADI Rescue Diver course. This course teaches you how to manage ocean emergencies by building confidence in your scuba diving skills. Your dive instructor creates realistic emergency exercises to train you to manage scuba diving-related injuries and illnesses. These scenarios culminate in two full-scale rescue exercises.
