With this in mind, let us highlight our company policies to help you achieve the best Maui scuba diving experience.
Scuba Diving Policies
Cancellation Policy
Our Maui dive shop operates a 48-hour cancellation policy. You receive a full refund when you cancel before this timeframe, but any cancellation made after 48 hours is not eligible for any refund.
PADI Course Refunds
Your PADI course gets paid in full before you begin. Once you start your scuba course we cannot issue any refunds if you do not complete the course requirements. However, in the event of illness or injury, don’t hesitate to contact us for options to delay or possibly reschedule your dive reservation. Your instructor can provide a PADI referral form if you cannot complete your course. A PADI referral is valid for one year.
Price Guarantee
We reserve the right to change our prices. However, we guarantee your quoted price once you pay in full.
Swimming Requirements
You should feel comfortable and confident swimming in the ocean before signing up for the Beginner Dive, aka Introductory Dive or Discover Scuba Dive. However, swimming proficiency assessments are compulsory for anyone beginning a PADI course, such as Scuba Diver, Open Water Diver, and Open Water Referral Dives. PADI course participants need to complete a 10-minute float in the ocean, plus a 200-meter swim or 300-meter snorkel. Don’t worry, your swim and snorkel tests have no time limitations!
Proof of Certification
Beginners do not need to have a scuba certification to dive! Only certified divers are required to provide us with a diving certification and your instructor needs to check your certification card and logbook before exploring Maui’s dive sites. If you have misplaced anything, contact us in advance to see if we can help.
Maui Dive Site Requests
Scuba dive in Maui with us for a perfect day of shore diving!
The famous beaches of Lahaina, Kaanapali, and Kapalua provide many opportunities to explore Maui underwater. Your instructor decides on each dive site according to your skill level and the forecasted Pacific Ocean conditions. As a result, the dive site you visit for any given day cannot be confirmed until the time of your scuba dive.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read our company policies. We look forward to setting you up with an expert instructor to scuba dive in Maui!
