Getting Your Maui Scuba Certification
It is simple to get a PADI scuba certification on Maui. You can become a certified diver in just 1 to 2 days by experiencing at least two scuba dives and being ten years old or more. Classes are available in small groups and with flexible scheduling. Shore diving from the beach makes it easy for water entry and exit. We supply all of the equipment you need and have highly experienced instructors.
If you are already certified, you may want to upgrade your certification. You can get the lessons and dives you need to qualify while you are here on vacation. You may opt for a small group or private lessons. Scuba diving takes place in some of the most beautiful areas on Maui. Our beach dives are ideal for beginners and more advanced divers because of the shallow entry and gradual drop off. Some of the reefs are located starting in just 8 feet of water.
If you already have your beginner PADI Scuba Diver certification, you can upgrade to PADI Open Water Diver. We offer both group and private scuba diving lessons. You can become a PADI Open Water Diver by completing four training dives. If you are already Open Water certified, you can upgrade to PADI Advanced Diver. An Advanced diver gets to complete five adventure dives, including the Deep and Navigation Dives.
The next scuba diving certification level is PADI Rescue Diver. To be a Rescue Diver, you must have an emergency first responder (EFR) diving certificate obtained within the last 24 months. You must also be at least 15 years old and already have Advanced certification. Rescue helps you to learn how to manage emergencies and provide help when accidents happen.
