Beginner Scuba Certification in Maui
Learning to scuba dive in Lahaina is consistently rated as one of Maui’s best activities. But getting scuba certified means committing some of your vacation days to the course. So what can you do when pressed for vacation time? Consider choosing this one-day beginner PADI Scuba Diver course.
As a new PADI Scuba Diver, the certification requires that you always scuba dive under the direct supervision of a PADI Instructor (or Assistant Instructor). You can dive with your professional buddy to a maximum depth of 40 feet. The next course is the multi-day PADI Open Water Diver course. All PADI certifications are recognized globally and valid for your lifetime.
PADI Scuba Diver consists of three sections:
The first section focuses on learning PADI academics. Before beginning your course with us in Lahaina, complete PADI Open Water Diver chapters 1 – 3. In addition, you need to take a quiz for each chapter. |
The second section covers confined water skills. Scuba diving in Maui allows you to practice scuba techniques in a warm and calm ocean environment. Working with your professional instructor can quickly improve your confidence as a new scuba diver. |
The third section includes your two training dives! This is your time to explore Maui underwater and practice your scuba diving skills. |
