Scuba diving in the dark is one of the best ocean experiences in Maui. Please note that night diving requires a scuba certification, and your diving history should show that you logged a dive in the last six months to one year. Beginner divers can instead start by taking introductory lessons or a PADI course.

What to Expect Night Diving

You meet your scuba instructor at a designated dive site about an hour before sunset for a safety briefing. Your pre-rented gear and dive light will be provided and ready for you. As darkness falls, you will enter the ocean to begin your night diving adventure in Lahaina, Hawaii.
