Maui Scuba Certification Course for Safety Preparedness

Visit Maui for your PADI Rescue Diver scuba certification course to discover why this PADI course has always been regarded as a rewarding and crucial step forward in scuba certification courses. PADI Rescue Diver with Banyan Tree Divers will build confidence in your scuba diving skills while helping you become more prepared for unexpected diving emergencies. The PADI Rescue Diver course also brings you to the last step before achieving professional diving status.

By completing the PADI Rescue Diver scuba certification course, you will learn how to manage different dive-related emergencies through a combination of dive theory, training exercises, and rescue scenarios. Dive theory comprises of two academic sessions, coupled with independent study. We advise all of our divers to complete the Knowledge Review Questions beforehand.

The ten in-water training exercises get practiced on the surface and underwater. We like to practice this training repeatedly until our divers feel relaxed and confident with every skill. Ultimately, each of the ten exercises gets evaluated during two rescue scenarios. Assistants from Banyan Tree Divers help to create realistic emergency events during your rescue scenarios, making your experience true to life and memorable, and scuba diving Lahaina provides the perfect setting to practice shore entries and exits.

What to Expect for your PADI Rescue Diver Course

We operate as a mobile Maui dive shop and choose the specific dive site the day before your course begins. We send you the details and GPS coordinates via email. This way, we can ensure we use the best Maui diving sites for your PADI Rescue Diver training based on conditions. The usual meeting time is 9 am, and you can expect to finish each day at 4 pm.

Our Maui dive company aims to provide both convenience and professionalism. So we simply meet you at the beach of our chosen dive site, gear up, and walk into the ocean. We’ll agree on the sites for the second day with you in person after your first two dives, so you know where to meet us.

Our previous PADI Rescue Diver students often tell us that this course was their favorite Maui activity. It is challenging, but at the same time very rewarding because you will immediately improve your scuba diving skills and general underwater awareness.
