For most of us scuba diving becomes an addiction. After completing your PADI Open Water certification, the next course is PADI Advanced. This certification will make you more confident underwater, because you get to experience 5 dives with your Banyan Tree Divers Scuba instructor. The PADI Advanced course introduces you to a variety of new PADI Adventure Dives, such as: Deep, Navigation, Photography, Wreck, Peak Performance Buoyancy, and a long list of additional electives.
The PADI Advanced certification includes 5 dives over 2 to 3 days. The Deep and Navigation dives are compulsory, because these dives are the foundation of dive planning and execution. The three remaining elective dives are chosen by you and your instructor.
You will go to new places underwater with a PADI Advanced certification, because your new maximum depth will be 100 feet. You will also become more aware of your buoyancy control and fin interaction around coral reef and sandy bottoms.
As a certified PADI Advanced diver you get to apply completed Adventure Dives as credit towards a future Specialty certification.
